We are New Life Goldendoodles, a family of 6 living on 5 acres near Eugene, Oregon with our dogs, cats and chickens. We also homeschool our four children. And yes, we love animals as you can imagine. We started breeding Goldendoodles in 2004 after having learned of the breed from some good friends of ours, also Oregon Goldendoodle breeders. We have always loved the individual qualities of the Golden Retriever and Poodle. So, the blending of traits of these two breeds to make the ideal pet made perfect sense. And we also think the goldendoodle puppy is about the cutest there is.
Comparing our Goldendoodles to our other dogs, we see how they are in a class all their own, exceptional in many ways. Doodles are just different, especially in their temperament and manner. We have sold a number of goldendoodle puppies to be used as therapy dogs. Also, these wonderful dogs have little to non-shedding coats and are the answer for many people with allergies who have been unable to own a dog because of shedding and dander.
